General:

The calf consists of the soleus muscle and 2 gastrocnemius muscles (or twin muscles). In some patients, these twin muscles may be hypertrophic and therefore abnormally thick. The injection of botox ® in the calves significantly reduces their thickness, thus slimming the legs.

Botox ® injected in conventional doses, by decreasing the muscle contraction signal, corrects the state of muscle hypercontraction responsible for wrinkles. When injected in larger quantities, it creates an atrophic effect on the muscle and reduces its thickness. The 2 examples illustrating this property of Botox® are the injections in the masseters and in the calves.

Warning:

Only doctors, with a practice authorization, can inject Botox ® in Switzerland. Laboratories selling Botox ® are only authorized to sell it to doctors with a license. There are many counterfeits that can endanger your body.

Selective injection of Botox ® in the twin muscles, under local anesthesia.
