Dr. Lucas uses the brand Stylage\u00ae mainly, which is one of the reference brands worldwide, but for dark circles, in certain patients at risk of Tyndall effect, he uses Teosyal Redensity II \u00ae and for rhinoplasty with hyaluronic acid, he uses Restylane Lift\u00ae.<\/p>\n
Warning :<\/h3>\n
Only doctors, with a license and an insurance, can inject hyaluronic acid in Switzerland. Laboratories selling hyaluronic acid are only authorized to sell it to doctors with a license. There are many counterfeits that can endanger your body, some of which cannot be corrected by Hyaluronidasis. In addition, an intra-vascular injection (into a vessel) can have dramatic consequences: necrosis, blindness.<\/p>\n
Technique :<\/h3>\n
Topical anesthesia with cream or local anesthesia with Xylocaine on the entry point and filling with the cannula. The cannula is very often used by Dr. Lucas, because with its smooth, non-sharp tip, allows for a less painful injection with less hematoma.<\/p>\n
Results :<\/h3>\n
Time to results:<\/strong> immediate
\nLongevity of results :<\/strong> 3 to 24 months depending on the product and on the patients (great variability). We note a greater resorption of hyaluronic acid in smokers.<\/p>\nBefore the injection:<\/h3>\n
Inform Dr. Lucas of any anticoagulant medication (Sintrom, Coumadin, Eliquis, etc..) or Aspirin, special attention will be paid during the injections to avoid small vessels and prevent hematomas and for certain injections, a relay will be organized if medically possible
\nTake Arnica 5 capsules 5 times a day for 5 days before the operation if you are prone to hematoma<\/p>\nContraindications:<\/strong> autoimmune diseases, pregnancy, breastfeeding, previous silicone injection on the same site<\/p>\n

Pain:<\/strong> pain during the procedure is almost non-existent, with an adapted anesthesia

\nAvoid anti-inflammatory drugs and smoking for 48 hours.
\nIce for 48 hours to reduce swelling.
\nStop smoking to prolong the effect of the hyaluronic acid.
\nMassage areas the next day if you feel any irregularities or firm areas for 1 week.
\nArnica capsules 5 capsules 5 times a day for 5 days after injection if hematoma.
